Batching My Meals

I had time this weekend to batch my meals for the week. I always enjoy doing that. It takes all the guess work (and excuses) out of my meal plan. Not lying, it takes more planning that making a grocery list and a few hours of work but afterwards each meal prep takes 3-8 minutes depending on the reheating and adding the fresh veggies and/or salads.


On the menu:

Stuffed Red Bell Peppers Stuffed Chicken
Extra lean ground turkey Avocado pesto
Red chard Basil
Celery Pine nuts
Spinach Olive oil
Tomato Grilled zucchini
Onion Cherry tomatos
Black beans

Fresh veggies on the side: kale, romain lettuce, cucumber, red bell pepper, mushrooms, broccoli, etc.

Breakfast is the easy part- fresh smoothies or fruit and greek yogurt.

Call me nerdy but I’m really looking forward to preparing my lunch box in the morning.

Maybe we could do this together on a Sunday before Walking Dead…In my kitchen so you don’t even have the mess to clean up…Imagine…Morning run, off to the outdoor range, grocery shopping with one of your bff’s (I hope…lol), batching meals for the week, making a rewarding meal that we plan together, watching dirty hot Darryl on the big TV. 🙂
