Weekly Batch (and weigh in fail)

It seems that I did not lose any weight after my first week at Fit in 42 and I’m pretty sure it’s because of the food. Not that the food I made was bad or that I snuck a burger but I just didn’t eat right. Last week I made a full week’s worth of meals- 6 lunches, 6 dinners and at the end of the week I had 6 meals left over. How did that happen? I stressed and instead of eating a meal I snacked on nuts and protein bars, too many nuts and protein bars plus not enough water, again. So I didn’t gain any weight but my body went into survival mode and reserved the only food I ate. BAD JOS!

So I have half a week of meals to work with that I will not let go to waste so I added a compliment to the meals to change things up a bit. I’m still plenty stressed so I feel like I’m going to need a little bit of comfort food, something warm and creamy.

  1. We all have weeks that we feel we should lose weight, but we don’t. Bodies can be weird that way. But, keep up the good work, and I’m sure you’ll start to see the losses again sooner rather than later!

  2. Ok, so it happens! You need to keep your head up and your eyes on the prize! Consistancy is the key, remember this a marathon and not a sprint. Snacking is a no no. You need to focus on solid meals and not protein bars. You got this Jos!
