Man, this whole weight loss project is one tough nut to crack.
I’ll keep it simple, I’ve steadily been rescinding my healthy eating and exercise habits and it’s resulted in… not weight gain thanks goodness, but health decline. I haven’t been feeling great.
Good news though, people came to my rescue and encouraged me to get back at it; and back at it I went! Picked up my workout routine after about a month’s hiatus. Results: I AM BEAT! Felt like I started all over again. My body reached that physical/mental wall about halfway through and I was pushing past it for the rest of the class. I have to say though, I liked it. I love that feeling of pushing my body to it’s limit, where I’m uncomfortable. But due to some bad food choices the past few weeks my body was not in condition to take the beating without consequence. So I’m feeling a little beat, looking a little ashen and probably dehydrated. It just goes to show the effect of habits on the body. Good habits lead to good consistent results. Mentally I feel good, motivated and looking forward to my next weight-loss related project. (Details to come)
Lessons:
– All choices have consequence that you will not avoid.
– Anything worth doing will take work.
-Successful work demands dedication.
-If you fail, get up and try again.
Until next time,
